CREATED 1978
Painted from the attic of a farmhouse in Ballston Spa, NY. The teapot, crushed, stoically holds the window open while surrounded by darkness. This is a metaphor for how our spirit will bring us through inevitable hard times when we have faith and pursue the light.
It is our charge, given this sacred life we are provided with, to strengthen our spirit and those of the others we touch. Compassion for all. This is the main ingredient of life.
