The Buddha, Bowl, and the Crystal

The Buddha sits one eye on the menacing plant (Mara) and the other eye looking inward. Mara tempted Buddha to renounce meditation and return to worldly things rather than facing the transient nature of life. Mara represents the darker side of life such as anger, greed, desire, and lust. The Buddha here is androgynous in form, as there is no distinction in gender once awakened. This Buddha sits with the vibration of the singing bowl (unified by sound, Om). And the light energy magnified by the crystal (intentionally sending out the energy of love). All are part of, and surrounded by, a moving energy field. All is God’s energy, moving, transforming, and manifesting.

We have saints, Bodhisattvas, angels, master teachers, and gurus available to help us to understand compassion, love, and expansion of consciousness. They will appear when we are ready. Gently prepare your mind, and plant your garden with love.
