The Attic Window

I painted this window scene from the hallway outside my attic room at a farm in Ballston Spa, NY. Windows may symbolize motifs for hope, inspiration, aspiration, change, illumination, and even spiritual vision. 

Awakened one night by the eerie feeling of a presence, the hair on my arms stood on end. It seemed a spirit whose body had long passed was still attached to the house and in my room. Attachment delays ascension; as if looking from a window, but not being able to go out. 

Attachment is the cause of most suffering.

Attachment may delay our love one’s ascension as they will feel your need for them. Grieve, then let them go in peace. That is love for you and them.
