Blue Heron and the Hierarchy

While kayaking from Lake Lonely to Saratoga Lake, NY I viewed a Fall reflection so vivid that that I felt vertigo and was both amazed and in reverence.

Each object was reflected so well that it was hard to tell up from down.

In this painting, the blue heron is relating the path to higher consciousness to the plants. Its alter ego, manifesting this occurrence, is off to the right side. The plants listen in rapt attention. While the over arching feminine tree trunks hold the presence.

The cardinal sits above representing spiritual love and guidance.

Consciousness is in all things. Awakening of consciousness progresses from the inanimate to the animate and sentient beings to the Buddha.

Once ego is held in its only real purpose of maintaining a healthy sense of self, and one understands their unity with all, then we may awaken our light and bring it to others.

Pointillism was used for the leaves – all is points of light and energy moving and expanding in unison.
